Movimiento Juvenil Martiano: contribution to the youth political formation in the face of the current demands of the country

Abstract

MJM emerged in 1989 with the main mission of promoting the study, research and dissemination of the life and work of José Martí in order to safeguard national sovereignty. However, the MJM has updated its operation based on the challenges of the prevailing context and the importance of joining efforts to contribute to the ideological strengthening of society as a whole, especially young people. Therefore, the MJM recognizes the need to renew strategies to confront political-ideological subversión in all scenarios. In virtue of the necessary strengthening of the knowledge of the Marti ideology and taking into account the complexity of the national socioeconomic panorama, the continuous adversities faced by the country and its reflection in a crisis of values that has deepened; the present paper intends to evaluate the contribution of the MJM to theç training on politics of the new generations during the last two years (2022-2023).
