About the Journal
Ad Hoc is an Open Access peer-reviewed scientific journal published quarterly. It is edited and published by students of the Higher Institute of International Relations “Raúl Roa García”.. It receives contributions in Spanish, English and French.
It is a space where students and tutors can publish the results of their research in the field of Social Sciences, especially in International Relations. The aim is to contribute to the training of professionals with a broad profile in the field, as well as to the dissemination of the results of the scientific work of university students working and researching on international politics.

This issue of the Ad Hoc University Scientific Journal is being published amid complex circumstances, which have posed an additional challenge in terms of access to resources, connectivity, and balancing research time with growing daily demands. However, these limitations have not hindered our commitment to reflection and critical thinking regarding the reality of our country and the issues on the international agenda.
The issue you hold in your hands brings together eleven articles addressing different topics, with which we commemorate the sixth anniversary of our publication. This year, as in previous years, we reaffirm the value of science as a tool for social transformation and invite you to continue reading the world between the lines.
