The .S. political-military strategy towards Ecuador and Peru in the period 2021-2023.

From 2021 until the end of 2023, U.S. foreign policy found in the Latin American region a map nuanced by left-wing governments. Although this did not lead to a renunciation by imperialism of exercising its domination over these nations, certain conflicting interests did appear that limited US hegemony. Faced with this scenario, Washington opted, among other alternatives, to strengthen its ties with right-wing governments. In this regard, it is clear that the governments of Ecuador and Peru strengthened, at this stage, their ties with the United States (US) in the economic, political and, especially, military spheres. Given this geopolitical situation, a research that identifies the main characteristics of the political-military strategy of the United States towards Ecuador and Peru during the period 2021-2023 is valid.
