The Marxism as an essential pillar of Raúl Roa García's revolutionary formation. A look at his thought and work in the decades prior to 1959.
Keywords:
Raúl Roa, Marxism, Leninism, revolutionary thoughtAbstract
In Roa's revolutionary thought, the indisputable influence of the period that began in the 1920s is evident, whose maximum point of crisis would be the revolutionary process of the 1930s. In a national context marked by economic deformations and social inequalities resulting from the policies of corrupt and surrender governments, the encounter with the ideas of Marxism and Leninism occurred very quickly in Roa, which would undoubtedly lead to a consolidation and radicalization of its revolutionary and anti-imperialist ideology. In this sense, this research aims to demonstrate the influence of the Marxist ideologist in the radicalization of the thought of the "Chancellor of Dignity", focusing mainly on his stage of student struggle precisely because of the influence that this period had on his training as a revolutionary.
