Critical analysis of the proposal of productive transformation with equity in Latin America and the Caribbean outlined by Fernando Fajnzylber

Some authors consider that structuralist thought managed to get out of the crisis that led to the lost decade of development (the eighties) thanks, to a great extent, to a profound ideological renewal led by Fernando Fajnzylber and which gave rise to the so-called neo-structuralism. This renewal was mainly focused on the proposal about productive transformation with equity and the role of education as the axis of said transformation, a proposal that was based on the author's previous analyzes. The present work proposes to carry out a critical analysis of the proposal of productive transformation with equity in Latin America in the 90s raised by Fernando Fajnzylber, based on a previous study of the different influences that can be observed in the thinking of the author, his method of analysis and the main concepts defended in his work.
