Editorial Note

Abstract

This issue has a special significance for all of us who work in and for Ad hoc. With it we wish to pay tribute to our Alma Mater on its fortieth anniversary. The publication is intended to recognize all those who during these years have forged the many achievements and prestige of our Institute. In particular, the Editorial Committee of the journal dedicates this publication to Gabriel Pérez Tarrau, who was not only loved by his students, but whose legacy constitutes a reference for ISRI's teaching and research, and for Cuban diplomacy.
