About the Journal
Ad Hoc is an Open Access peer-reviewed scientific journal published quarterly. It is edited and published by students of the Higher Institute of International Relations “Raúl Roa García”. It receives contributions in Spanish, English and French.
It is a space where students and tutors can publish the results of their research in the field of Social Sciences, especially in International Relations. It aims to contribute to the training of professionals with a broad profile in the field, as well as to the dissemination of the results of the scientific work of university students working and researching on international politics.
It publishes editorial notes, original and review articles, interviews, short contributions containing preliminary results of ongoing research, or others of interest in the opinion of the Editorial Committee, as well as articles of a historical nature that address paradigms, personalities, institutions, phenomenas, events, etc., which, due to their marked transcendence, contribute to the objectives of the Journal. It also has an extraordinary section of itinerant articles, which is permanently active between the publication of the formal issues. In this space, short articles are divulged, which may be essays, opinion articles and small analyses that respond to the thematic line of the publication. For the acceptance and publication of scientific articles related to International Relations, the Editorial Committee is responsible for enforcing its editorial policy.
